BUILT BY ONE REEL MAKER.

Paul Conover is the hands and experience behind Old Mariner. With more than 60 years in reel design and manufacturing, he designs every Old Mariner reel and personally assembles each one by hand.

From the engineering behind the frame and drag to the final screw turned into place, Paul is involved in every reel that leaves the shop. It’s a hands-on approach to reel making that’s increasingly hard to find.
